You can't tell but the scorpions are still moving!
Y It is much more beautiful in person!
Sandy's lambchops in Kathmandu!
Did you notice that some of the passengers on top are standing? You should see the bus when it goes around the curves on dirt!
Sonom (our Tibetan guide) and Tse Vang (the most careful and competent driver I've ever seen). Sonom taught himself English (you can tell, but give him credit, he now teaches it) and I understand Tse Vang would lose his job if he weren't so careful - not to mention his life on some of the roads and conditions we encountered).
I guess this is deluxe in Tingri, Tibet (15,000 feet). No running water! Since this is not X rated, I can't show you the sang bo (toilette) - it was duh cha (bad). Let's just say that room at the hotel had holes in the floor that were open to the hillside behind the hotel.
Self portrait above 18,000 feet somewhere between North Everest Base Camp and the next base camp with Qomolongma (Everest) in the background. I had just walked through a herd of some type of antelope.

Wow! Looks like you had fun in all kinds of ways. Angie and I would not survive the strange eating, nor hanging our rear-ends out of a hole in our room. Glad to see you had fun.
Great Pictures, ET! Even little ET (Emory) recognized the Taj Mahal. I would have had to pack a lot of cheez-its and fruit snacks. I don't think I could eat Yak butter!
